Big entry for Firefighters' Memorial Walk

More than 190 sign up

There's a bumper entry for this year's Firefighters' Memorial Walk, with 191 people signing up.

The event follows a 31 mile route between Peel and Ramsey fire stations, with some using it as part of their training for the Manx Telecom Parish Walk. 

Those who are taking part can pick up their timing chips at Up and Running, on Bucks Road in Douglas, between 10.30am on Friday, 12 April and 5pm on Saturday, 13 April.

The race itself is the following day, starting at 8.30am on Sunday, 14 April.
