
Two of the Island's leading tennis players returned home to win the singles titles in the Albany Christmas tournament.
Billy Harris took the Men's title. He beat Rob Heeney 6-2, 6-2 in the semi-finals, then produced a dominant performance to defeat Marc Chinn 6-2, 6-0 in the final.
Laura Feely was also in top form in taking the Ladies honours. She saw off Hannah Snidal 6-0, 6-4 in the last four and then recorded a 6-4, 6-0 success over Sarah Breed in the final.
The competition was run over four days from Boxing Day at the club's indoor facility.
The Junior class winners were Oliver Wait, Alex Conti, James Holden, Calvin Smith and Katie Harris.
