Stopped to check on rivals
Ben Birchall says he did nothing wrong in the incident at Cross Four-ways which led to the Southern 100 Sidecar Championship race being stopped on the final lap.
The Birchalls and the outfit of Tim Reeves and Mark Wilkes collided on the approach to the corner while dicing for the lead and win.
Yesterday Tim Reeves accused the Birchalls of running in to the back of his sidecar saying it wasn't Cricket.
But Ben Birchall has hit back saying they had the inside line and could have carried on to take the victory:-
