Birchalls claim sidecar win
This afternoon’s perfect conditions produced the fastest ever sidecar race around the Mountain Circuit.
Brothers Ben and Tom Birchall claimed their second TT win more than 24 seconds ahead of John Holden and Dan Sayle in second and Conrad Harrison and Mike Aylott in third.
On their way to victory, the Birchalls came within six seconds of the outright sidecar lap record set back in centenary year 2007.
