League grows after successful introduction of new comp
After a successful first run of a brand new competition, IOM Short Mat Bowls has confirmed a second edition of the IOM Singles League.
Round two will see it grow from 8 players in one division to 16 players in two divisions, with the bottom 2 players in the top division relegated to division two, and the top 2 players in division two promoted.
League dates are:
Monday 25th January 2021
Monday 1st February 2021
Monday 8th February 2021
Monday 15th February 2021
Monday 22nd February 2021
Play gets underway at 6:30pm and the last game of the night will finish at approximately 9:30pm.
Two trial ends of two bowls each will be allowed before each match.
In the final week everyone will play their one and final match, while over the other 4 weeks players will have 2 nights with 2 matches and 2 nights with 1 match.
The full playing schedule & markers will be published online before the league begins.
The entry fee is £15, which has to be paid before your first match and entries are on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
