Island fighter became a Commonwealth champion last month
Undefeated Isle of Man professional boxer, Jade Burden has announced when she'll next return to the ring after claiming a historic first title last month.
'The Grenade' - who was crowned Commonwealth Silver Super Featherweight champion in June - is due to return to action on Saturday, 19 September at Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
An opponent is yet to be confirmed.
Revealing the date on social media, Burden says this will be 'a little tune up, until these girls at the top fancy a hiding.'
On Saturday, 13 June, Burden defeated Katie Smith to claim the Commonwealth Silver Super Featherweight title with a sixth round stoppage at the Toughsheet Community Stadium in Bolton.
Furthermore, since turning professional in the sport in 2024, Burden has five wins from all five fights to date, including two by way of knockout.
