Manxman moves onto 12 pro victories with unanimous points win
Isle of Man professional boxer, Jamie Devine has continued his unbeaten run at pro level after victory in his latest showdown in Liverpool.
The Island-born fighter swept to a unanimous points win over Peruvian competitor, Cesar Ignacio Paredes at BOXPARK Liverpool on Saturday, 12 September.
Success in the eight-round bout on Merseyside extends Devine's undefeated professional record in the sport to 12 wins from all 12 contests since turning pro in 2023.
Following last weekend's win, Devine said on social media it was a 'great first night under my new management' and that there is 'exciting times ahead.'
Back in April this year, the Manxman had initially announced plans to fight for the Commonwealth Silver Super Featherweight title at Liverpool Olympia on 20 June.
However, that fight was called off ten days before it was due to take place - Devine said at the time it was down to 'reasons out of my control.'
