Manx fighter hints at possible title shot
Isle of Man professional boxer, Jade Burden has confirmed the date of her first fight in 2026.
'The Grenade' has announced she'll return to the ring in Portsmouth on Saturday, 11 April.
Furthermore, the Island competitor adds 'the opportunity is real to bring a title back to the Isle of Man' and more details on her opponent and the fight itself are expected to be revealed in the next week.
As part of preparations, Burden's confirmed she'll be based in the UK for her latest fight camp and, as a result, is welcoming any financial support to help with her training.
Having first made her professional debut in the sport in 2024, the Manx fighter has won all four of her pro contests so far.
The latest of those was a points victory over former English and Commonwealth title contender, Linzi Buczynskyj in Blackpool on Saturday, 29 November, 2025.
