Bout was previously cancelled at short notice earlier this month
Isle of Man professional boxer, Jade Burden has confirmed a new date for her first ever title fight.
'The Grenade' has confirmed she'll now face Katie Smith for the Commonwealth Silver Super Featherweight Title on Saturday, 13 June at The Toughsheet Community Stadium in Bolton.
The showdown had originally been due to take place at Portsmouth Guildhall on Saturday, 11 April but the fight and show were cancelled less than 72 hours before the Island competitor was due to get in the ring.
Having been 'absolutely heartbroken' when the previous date fell through, Burden has now taken to social media to thank people for their support since then:
Since turning professional in 2024, Burden has a current record at that level of four wins from four fights, including one knockout.
Her most recent appearance was in a points win over Linzi Buczysnkyj in Blackpool in November last year.
