Manx boxer Jade Burden has taken victory on her professional debut in the sport.
'The Grenade' - the Island's first ever female pro contender - claimed a points victory over Sheffield's Sheree Barnes in a four-round contest at Grand Central Hall in Liverpool this evening (27 April).
There was also success at the same event for fellow Manx fighter Jamie Devine who extended his early undefeated record in the pro ranks to four victories.
He did so by overcoming the experienced Jahfieus John Lesley Faure also on points over four rounds.
