Island fighter's professional record stretches to seven victories
Isle of Man pro boxer Jamie Devine secured his seventh straight professional win with a stoppage victory over Luis Ricardo Ramirez in Liverpool.
In what was his first six-round contest at pro level, Devine needed less than five rounds to ultimately halt Ramirez on a TKO decision at Grand Central Hall on Sunday (27 April).
That came after the Manxman had already set a benchmark early on, knocking Ramirez to the canvas in the opening round.
A seventh consecutive win at this standard also means Devine remains undefeated at professional level.
Separately, fellow Isle of Man competitor Jade Burden had previously been due to fight on the same card.
However, her bout - which would've been her first of the calendar year - was called off earlier this month.
