Island athletes to contest 11 bouts in Liverpool this weekend
A squad of Isle of Man boxers are set to put their skills to the test again in a challenging event in the UK this weekend.
Isle of Man Manx ABC will face a Merseyside & Cheshire select team across 11 bouts at the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool from 7.30pm this Saturday (20 May).
The Island side's coach, Peter Roberts, says along with the more experienced fighters it'll be a good learning curve for the younger athletes coming through the ranks locally.
He says the younger fighters have learned a lot over the season so far:
