Manx fighters to put skills to the test in Douglas at sold-out event
An Isle of Man boxing club is set to test its skills against UK fighters on home turf this weekend.
New Horizon Boxing Club will take on a Cheshire Select team at a sold-out event at the Palace Hotel in Douglas at 7pm on Saturday (23 March).
It will mark the second time the team has held an occasion of this type, after hosting its inaugural show in September last year.
The club's head coach, John Cain, hopes this latest venture can benefit the competitors and the club as a whole in the long-term:
Cricket: Isle of Man's opponents confirmed for 2028 T20 world cup qualifiers
Snooker: Blinders and PSM Legion both win to go joint-top
MGP Supporters club considering winding down operations
Hockey: Isle of Man Men's B progress in EH Championships
