Unbeaten Manxman eyeing up another victory at Grand Central Hall
One of the Isle of Man's top boxers will be hoping to extend his unbeaten pro record when he returns to the ring in Liverpool this weekend.
Mathew Rennie - whose pro tally stands at 12 wins and one draw - will take on Ukrainian fighter Mykhailo Sovtus at Grand Central Hall on Saturday (6 July).
Another Manx fighter Jamie Devine was originally due to be part of this weekend's event but has withdrawn due to injury.
'Magic' Rennie was last in action in February when he claimed a points victory over John Henry Mosquera in a six-round showdown at the same venue.
Ahead of this latest test Rennie has since switched gyms in a move he hopes will mark a 'successful chapter' in his career going forward.
