Manxman remains hopeful of title shot in near future
Manx boxer Mathew Rennie has confirmed he'll return to the ring later this year.
The Island-born fighter has announced his next fight will take place on 6 October in Liverpool - his opponent is still to be confirmed.
'Magic' Rennie will be hoping to maintain his unbeaten record of nine wins, no losses and one draw - in his last contest he secured a points win over Greek opponent Efstathios Antonas in March this year.
After being forced to withdraw from a match in May due to injury Rennie says it's still his ambition to earn a title fight in the near future:
