Manxman to fight for WBC Australasia Silver Super Featherweight crown
Manx pro fighter Sam Rennie is preparing for a professional title fight in Australia this evening (30 May).
The former New Horizon Boxing Club member will face Asyer Aluman for the WBC Australasia Silver Super Featherweight title tonight at Metro City in Northbridge.
Up to now he's won all three of his professional bouts, the most recent of those a stoppage win over Dedy Imprax at Metro City on 14 March.
His previous two victories came in 2024 after turning professional - the first of those was a win over Jitti Thobwan in Sydney in March last year before defeating Indonesian competitor Dedi Elite in Perth on 29 November 2024.
Meanwhile, New Horizon Boxing Club is among those wishing Sam well for his showdown, saying 'make the club and Isle of Man boxing in general proud Sam.'
