It'll be unbeaten Manx fighter's sixth fight in the last year
Isle of Man professional boxer, Sam Rennie says he's looking forward to the test of facing an experienced opponent in his latest contest in the ring tomorrow (28 November).
Looking to keep up his unbeaten run at pro level, the Island-born fighter will face Rivo Rengkung during the Thunderdome 52 event at Metro City, Northbridge.
It'll pit Rennie - the reigning WBC Australasia Silver Super Featherweight Champion - against a competitor with more than 80 fights to his name who also won his latest contest in July this year.
Although his title isn't on the line, the Manxman says he'll approach this bout and any other with a 'must-win' attitude:
Tomorrow's Thunderdome 52 event will get underway at 6pm local time (10am UK time).
Since turning professional in the sport in 2024, former New Horizon Boxing Club member, Rennie is undefeated at this level with six wins from six fights.
It'll also be his sixth showdown in the ring in the space of 12 months.
Rengkung of Indonesia is also a late replacement opponent after the competitor Rennie was initially meant to face had to withdraw from the event.
