Island fighter to face Shaun Browne for two belts next month

A venue change has been announced for Isle of Man boxer, Jade Burden's next title challenge next month.

Promoters of the event, Top Tier Boxing, have confirmed the Island fighter's meeting with Shauna Browne on Sunday, 25 October will now be held at Harrow Leisure Centre.

Both competitors are due to face off for the vacant WBA Gold and IBF International Lightweight titles.

Announcing the alteraton in a statement, Top Tier Boxing says the decision to switch locations 'follows further issues with York Hall, which means it is no longer a viable venue.'

Anyone who has booked tickets for the event already doesn't need to take any action as all tickets will remain valid for the new venue.

Heading into this latest test, Burden remains undefeated at professional level in the sport with five wins from all five fights to date, with two victories coming by way of knockout.

Her latest success was a sixth-round stoppage of Katie Smith in Bolton in June which saw Burden claim the Commonwealth Silver Super Featherweight title.
