16th Manx Youth Games take place this May
An alumni of the Manx Youth Games is hoping her success story will inspire more youngsters to get into sport.
Breeshey Cowin has been promoting the annual event, which launched last night in Douglas (Mon).
She says being introduced to badminton at the age of 12 has led to opportunities she'd 'never considered before' - including coaching, professional work and a degree at the University of Chester.
The Games give many young Islanders their first taste of a range of sports.
Now aged 21, Breeshey says they were a key part of her formative years:
