Brookes back at TT to replace Gary Johnson
British Superbike racer Josh Brookes says it was ‘hard to turn down’ an offer to ride for Dafabet Racing at this year's TT.
He’s replaced Gary Johnson who was injured whilst racing in the Czech Republic.
Brookes is riding the Kawasaki Z650 for the Bristol-based team in the two Supertwin races.
Practice got underway on the Mountain Course this morning (29 May) which the two-time BSB champion says is a good opportunity to re-familiarise himself after a number of years away from the Isle of Man:
Hockey: Over 45s through to England finalÂ
Golf: Career best for Dawson in South Africa
Football: Women's league title in sight for Peel
Manx duo heading to cheerleading world championships
Athletics: Big Island turnout expected at Manchester Marathon
