Finch Hill player hits form in Western Australia
Isle of Man cricketer George Burrows hit a century in an A Grade fixture in Western Australia.
Playing for Lake View in the Eastern Goldfields Cricket Association League against Hannans, Burrows opened the batting after Lake View won the toss.
The Finch Hill player scored 104 before being bowled off 131 balls faced.
His innings included 16 fours and was the first A Grade century hit for the Lake View side since 2011.
Burrows along with captain Ashley Malec recorded a partnership of 173 which is the second best second wicket partnership for Lake View and the fourth highest partnership in the club's history.
It was also the highest in the EGCA since 2015.
