Rider also confirms he's parted ways with Scott Racing
Road racer, Caomhan Canny says he hopes to be back at the Isle of Man TT Races in 2027 after withdrawing during this year's event.
The former Manx Grand Prix winner pulled out of the 2026 event during race week on what was his debut year at the meeting.
In an update, the competitor from Carndonagh says 'it wasn't a decision I made lightly', adding 2026 this has been 'the most testing year to date of my racing career.'
Furthermore, Canny confirms he's parted ways with the Scott Racing Motorcycles team, with which he was due to contest all of the solo classes on the Snaefell Mountain Course.
He will spend the rest of the season on board his own machinery to 'do roads as much as possible along with selected short circuits.'
Heading into his maiden TT appearance, Canny came into 2026 off of the back of an impressive 2025 on the Snaefell Mountain Course with a victory, a podium and two other top-five finishes during last year's Manx Grand Prix.
