
Castletown moved away from the bottom of the Shimmin Wilson Shield table in some style with a 32-10 win over Vagabonds B at Glencrutchery Road.
Ben Dalglish was the star for Town with two tries and there were also scores for Nick Kieswetter, Dave Ack and Ed Alderson. Kieswetter also kicked two conversions and a penalty.
Vagas’ consolation score came via Bryn Griffiths with fit again Jonny Beckley making up the Vagas total with a penalty.
In a friendly match at Mooragh Park, Ramsey B swept Emerging Nomads aside 70-0.
Chris Penketh, Daryn Thompson, Stu McConnell and James Wren all bagged two tries apiece.
There were also tries from Lewis Porter, Ben Harding, Mike Caine and Luke Robertson. Harding added six conversions to make it a miserable day for Nomads.
