Castletown took the spoils at the Mooragh Park by the narrowest of margins, beating hosts Ramsey B 6-5 in the opening round of the Shimmin Wilson Manx Bowl.
Ramsey led 5-0 at half-time after Mikey Craine’s 34th minute try put them in front.
However, Town fought back in the second half and two Sam Peel penalties were enough to seal the win and put them in the early driving seat.
