Annual event starts and finishes in Ramsey
Hundreds of runners on roads means extra care will be needed in the north of the Island this weekend.
That's from organisers of the Microgaming 'Play it Forward' Isle of Man Marathon Championship.
The start line is at Ramsey's Ballacloan Stadium, from 9 o'clock this Sunday morning (9 August).
Race organiser Phil Motley says there's a number of strong contenders:
