Manx professional cyclists Mark Cavendish and Peter Kennaugh are competing in the Tour of Romandie in Switzerland, which was due to open with a short prologue on Tuesday evening.
Cavendish is hoping to get his season back on track after dental problems interrupted his early training and race schedule.
He is named in a strong HTC Colombia squad which includes Mark Renshaw, Michael Rogers and Marco Pinotti.
Kennuagh makes his comeback for Team Sky after breaking his collarbone in early March - the injury led to a metal plate and six screws being inserted into his shoulder.
After the prologue to establish a race leader, Cav and Kennaugh face five varied stages of hills, rolling countryside and a flat one for the sprinters.
