Manx Missile had been diagnosed with Epstein-Barr virus
Mark Cavendish has confirmed he's back in training after being diagnosed with Epstein-Barr virus for a second time.
The Manxman's well-documented battle with illness over the last year appear to be over following a three-month break for recuperation.
The 33-year-old Olympic medallist conceded the condition was 'mismanaged' and that he's done himself 'more damage' as a result.
A winner of 30 stages at the Tour de France, Cav added he was 'training alright' and that the illness is now 'behind him'.
