'Manx Missile' Mark Cavendish has become the first person to win two prizes at an Isle of Man Bank Sports Awards.
At a glittering ceremony at the Villa Marina last night (Thursday), he was named Isle of Man Ambassador and shared the Sportsman of the Year title with David Knight.
Zoe Gillings took the title of Sportswoman of the Year.
It's the third time Cav and Knighter have shared the sportsman gong, having previously done so in 2005 and 2007.
It's the sixth year in a row Cavendish has received the accolade, either jointly or outright, but the first time he has won the ambassador crown.
It's also a fourth title for David Knight and the fourth time Zoe Gillings has been named the Island's top sportswoman.
Other winners on the night were cyclist Mark Christian, archer Aalin George, Paralympian Rowen Caley, Commonwealth Games official Tonia Lushington, cricket coach Gareth Dawson, the Isle of Man under-17 cricket team and Jock Waddington.
There was also a lifetime achievement award for athlete and official Steve Kelly.
