Manxman could be set for Middle Eastern move
Mark Cavendish is being linked with a move to a Middle Eastern-based team for next season.
Reports in the cycling press suggest he and long-time team mate Bernhard Eisel could end up at Bahrain-Merida.
The 34-year-old has been with Team Dimension Data since 2016.
He tasted success with the team in his first season, including adding to his tally of Tour de France stage wins, but has struggled with illness since.
Cav was diagnosed with Epstein Barr virus in 2017, and has only really been making his way back to full fitness this year.
