
Isle of Man cyclist Mark Cavendish has moved a step closer to realising his boyhood dream of riding in the Tour de France.
He has been named in T-Mobile's preliminary squad of thirteen riders - this will be reduced to nine ahead of the start on July 7th.
T-Mobile have named another British rider, Roger Hammond, alongside Cavendish which is significient with the opening stage taking place in London.
