Isle of Man cycling star Mark Cavendish will ride for Great Britain at the World Road Championships at the end of the month.
He has been released by his professional team....T-Mobile, having made a major impact during his debut season.
Mark has become the most successful first year rider in Pro-Tour history.
The Laxey rider won a World title on the track in Los Angeles in 2005, when he teamed up with Rob Hayles in the Madison to claim the Rainbow colours.
In Melbourne last year, Cav won gold at the Velodrome for the Isle of Man in the Scratch Race.
His big target for 2008 is the Olympic Games in Beijing.
