
Mark Cavendish finished second from last in stage three of the Santos Tour Down Under in Australia.
Cav was involved in a crash during a sprint at the end of the second stage of the event, and finished with blood streaming from his face and cuts and abrasions on his arms and legs.
He received medical treatment including facial stitches.
