As Mark Cavendish starts the Tour de France today, it's been confirmed he WILL represent the Isle of Man at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi in October.
He will travel to India after competing at the World Road Race Championships in Melbourne.
Cav will head a strong Manx team for the road race over a flat course in Delhi.
With Great Britain internationals Peter Kennaugh, Mark Christian, Tim Kennaugh, Chris Whorrall and hopefully a fully fit Jonny Bellis....the island will be one of the top ranked cycling nations at the Games.
Team Isle of Man Manager Gary Hinds is delighted he's persuaded Cav to change his mind and knows it will bring a great deal of attention:-
