
Manx cyclist Mark Cavendish won yesterday's first stage of the Tour of Missouri.
He made a late switch to take on the race in the United States, in preference to the Tour of Britain, to boost the American Team Columbia's presence in the home event.
As the bunch came into Kansas City, Cav once again showed why is is widely regarded as the fastest sprint finisher in the world.
