Mark Cavendish is set to line-up with Bradley Wiggins in Team Sky colours for the first time next month.
It was initially thought the pair, the British Isles' two biggest road cycling names, wouldn't ride with each other until the Tour de France.
But Team Sky has confirmed the Manx Missile and Wiggins will both compete in the Tour de Romandie in Switzerland between April 24 and 29.
They'll be joined by Chris Froome, Jeremy Hunt, Danny Pate, Richie Porte, Michael Rogers and Kanstantsin Siutsou.
