Manx Missile will be involved in eight-stage race
Mark Cavendish has been selected in Team Dimension Data's line-up for this year's Tour of Britain.
It's welcome news for the Manx Missile, who missed out on the Tour de France in July after being left out of the team.
The eight-stage Tour of Britain begins in Glasgow on Saturday, finishing in Manchester a week later.
Lining up alongside Cav will be 2016 winner Steve Cummings, Mark Renshaw and Belgian rider Julien Vermote.
The 34-year-old Manxman didn't feature in the event 12 months ago due to suffering from the Epstein Barr virus.
