Manx Missile back racing again
Manx cycling superstar Mark Cavendish is to return to racing this week.
He will compete at the Tour of Turkey where he has won seven stages over his career.
Cavendish has suffered from the Epstein-Barr virus over the last two years.
He missed the second half of last season to try and fully recover.
Cav has competed in Argentina and the United Arab Emirates this campaign but quit the second stage of Paris-Nice after losing contact with the main field.
He also missed the Milan-San Remo classic for the first time since winning in 2009.
His Dimension Data team has not revealed any further race plans for the Manx Missile after Turkey but confirmed he has enjoyed a "good block of training" in Mallorca.
The Tour of Turkey runs from Tuesday 16 to 21 April.
