Mark Cavendish crashed towards the end of a one-day race in Belgium today.
According to the Manx Missile's Twitter feed he'd negotiated the first 200km safely on what he calls "Belgium's worst roads", when, 15km from the finish another rider threw down a bottle.
It landed in Cavendish's front wheel, causing him to, as he puts it, "crash hard".
He says the bottle was one of Katusha's, a Russian team.
He finishes by saying, "everyone involved in a bike race should take a written and practical test to get licence".
