Manx missile back in action following Tour de France
Mark Cavendish was back in action today for the opening day of the Tour of Denmark.
It follows his record-equalling exploits in the Tour de France.
He just missed out on victory and havd to settle for second place.
The event takes place over the next four days finishing on Friday.
Meanwhile, it remains to be seen if Cavendish will take part in the forthcoming Tour of Britain.
A number of his rivals have already confirmed they will be competing in the forthcoming event.
It begins in Cornwall on 5 September and finishes in Aberdeen a week later.
