Follows aciton-filled Tour of Oman for Manx Missile
The Manx Missile is set to start the UAE Tour on Sunday after an event filled Tour of Oman.
Mark Cavendish won stage two after coming in second on stage one.
He held the green points jersey for much of the event but lost it after he was docked nine points for an offence, termed 'pushing off a vehicle', on three occasions.
He also crashed but escaped serious injury.
The UAE Tour features a number of flat sprint stages with Cavendish up against a handful of the world's top sprinters including Sam Bennett - the cyclist whose knee injury led to Mark’s inclusion in last year's Tour de France.
