Manx Missile was competing in Six Days of Ghent
Mark Cavendish was taken to hospital following a crash on the final day of a competition in Belgium at the weekend.
The Manx Missile has been taking part in the Six Days of Ghent track meeting.
He and teammate, Iljo Keisse, were in fourth position at the time of the incident.
After the collision, the 36-year-old was attended to by paramedics before being helped to his feet.
His team - Deceuninck-Quickstep - has since confirmed Cav was admitted to hospital afterwards for further checks.
