31 stages under the Manx Missile's belt
Manx missile Mark Cavendish has won the fourth stage of the Tour de France.
It takes the Laxey cyclist's stage total in the tour to 31 – just three behind the all time record holder Eddy Merckx.
An emotional Cavendish credited his team, Deceuninck–Quick-Step, and is now wearing the green jersey of the points leader.
Shortly after his win the team took to Twitter to say: "He's done it" and "Thanks for making us feel young again".
Speaking afterwards Cavendish was visibly upset:
"I don't know what to say man"
