As expected, Manx cyclist Mark Cavendish will head a strong Omega Pharma-QuickStep team at the Tour de France.
The biggest race of them all starts in Corsica on Saturday 29th June and ends in Paris on Sunday 21st July, where Cav will be aiming to win on the Champs-Elysees for the fifth straight year.
The Belgium team will ride solely for Cavendish who is fourth on the all-time list of stage winners with twenty-three.
The Manx Missile has set his sights on winning the green jersey in the sprinters points competition and on taking victory on the first stage so he can pull on the famous yellow jersey.
