A well-known figure in the Isle of Man says he is all but unrecognisable after two major operations helped him lose 22 stone.
Head of the Island's Civil Defence Martin Blackburn went to the Wirral for keyhole surgery which helped him drop from a peak of 43 stone to just 15.
The picture (above) is a composite image consisting of Martin with the Lieutenant Governor at a Government House reception in 2008 (on the right), and a recent picture of Martin, superimposed on the left.
