A three-day sprint and hill climb for classic and sports cars is taking place on the Island.
The 2011 Manx Classic centres on the Governor's Sprint today (Thursday), with roads closed from midday to 3pm, and from 6pm to 9.30pm.
The closure will affect the stretch from the TT Grandstand on Glencrutchery Road, through Governor's Dip and Bemahague Road, to the Mountain Road at the Nook.
Bill Mummery, executive director of sponsors Celton Manx, says it will be quite a spectacle (play audio file):
Full road closure information is available at manxmotorracing.com, from the Department of Infrastructure's website or by ringing 670150.
