He finished the 40 lap event, promoted by the Isle of Man Veteran Athletes’ Club, in a time of two hours, one minute and 24 seconds.
Considered a good test for preparations for the London Marathon, Rob Sellors (pictured) was second (2.02.50) with Edward Gumbley (2.05.09) in third.
Helen Taylor (2.41.06) was the first woman home in 11th place overall, ahead of Samantha Emerson and Elizabeth McGowan.
