Coleraine and District Motor Club issues update
Racing clubs in Northern Ireland are now 'considering' a new quote for insurance for the North West 200 and other events across Northern Ireland this year.
A statement from the Coleraine and District Motor Club says the MCUI UC has received a new quotation for its 2023 events which they and other organising clubs are now deliberating.
The club adds it's conscious 'time is now short' for putting together the events with racing just under eight weeks away, and there is a 'pressing need' for a final decision as soon as possible.
Last month, the MCUI announced racing in Northern Ireland was being called off due to 'spiralling' insurance costs.
