Colby hit 17!

Colby’s dominance of CFS Division Two was underlined in emphatic fashion on Saturday.

They demolished bottom club Ramsey Youth Centre 17-0 to stay nine points clear at the top of the table.

And it was the usual suspects who did much of the damage with a double hat-trick from young talent Josh Kelly and four goals from his strike partner Furo Davies.

One-time Island midfielder James Cain grabbed a hat-trick and there were also goals for Steve Leece, Rowan Rimington, Marty Moore and Adam Fretwell.

Michael continued their promotion push but were given a fright by the Police before emerging 4-3 winners, thanks to Jamie Moffatt, Paul Corlett and a double from player-manager Nick Hurt.

Pulrose also remain very much in the hunt and it was the prolific marksman, David Skillen, whose double secured an important 2-1 win away at Malew.

Fourth placed Castletown’s fine first half of the season continued with a 4-1 win at Douglas and District.

Michael Edge netted a double and Ashley Southern and Brett Alcott both chipped in with one each.

John Conroy was the D&D scorer.

Braddan’s return to form was shown again with a 7-1 home victory over lowly Jurby.

A hat-trick from Michael Wheeler, plus goals from David Kinrade, Andrew Lancaster, Mike Hegarty and James Ramsey, meant Jamie Skillen’s reply was a mere consolation.
