Ramsey grab bonus point on the road
Vagabonds lost 22-14 at Ballafletcher to a Liverpool Collegiate side who have South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two promotion ambitions.
Kevin Birchall and Paul Howard both scored tries for Vagas with Aidan O’Shea converting.
Vagas now face a daunting trip to Marple who are unbeaten at home this season.
Ramsey picked up a useful bonus point away at Prenton in Division Three, triumphing 28-22.
Josh Bowman and Dale Radcliffe both scored tries in the first half for Ramsey with skipper Dan Bonwick converting, but Prenton battled back to leave the game balanced 14-14 at half-time.
After the break Radcliffe crossed for his second, again converted by Bonwick, but with five to play Prenton took a 22-21 lead.
However, in the closing stages Ramsey scrum half Johnny Mason scored a try on his first team debut to seal the win and the extra point with Bonwick converting.
Ramsey moved into second place in the standings after leaders Aspull spanked Newton le Willows 55-0.
Ramsey travel to Aspull next week.
