Lesley Sleight's artwork will represent the Island in Glasgow
The design for the Isle of Man's baton at the upcoming Commonwealth Games has been chosen.
Archery star Lesley Sleight's artwork will represent the Island in Glasgow later this year.
The brief for the design was Manx culture and heritage however we won't see the baton until nearer to the time of the King's Baton Relay in June.
Lesley is an accomplished Island archer, crowned a World Champion on two occasions, and has broken five World and European records.
Basil Bielich, President of the Commonwealth Games Association of the Isle of Man said: "We are delighted with Lesley’s design and we look forward to seeing the designed Baton as it makes its way around the Island.
It will then feature at the opening ceremony of the games in July.
